The main idea of the youth hostel is "l'auberge espagnole": a melting pot of populations coming from all over the world (mostly from Europe). That's how I met Steven, Yann, Patrick and Olivier.
The first guy is american (a chewing gum in one cheek, an hamburger in the other, coca cola to swallow it...) and lives in france. The lasts 3 ones are french guys (half of people here are
french, then you find italian guy).
Then, there is James, who is hanging out with us, and makes us go from pub to pub at an unbelievable speed, and Rachele, a nice italian girl who has a walk with us in the afternoon.
So a day in Dublin, for now looks like this: breakfast polyglot (except when you woke up after 9:30... Thus you must do without eating. Then, I'm beginning to starve.)
Next, we went out to the market (1 euro 15 apples! Thanks for my guts) just before visiting Phoenix Park (biggest urbean park in Europe), and at last coming back to the hostel to have lunch (pizza... Yum! Even if only one of the 3 oven was working).
In the afternoon, we walk around in the city, trying to visit the archeology museum, but by the time we got there, it was already 16:30 and museum close at 17:00.
After strolling again, we came back to the hostel before visiting a last flat: I've just learnt that I got a single room in Trinity Hall.
Once I was in the right street, I called the flat's girl: "Sorry, I have so much work here, it completely slip out my mind". After a lazy "No problem", we went back to have dinner at the hostel.
For the evening, we changed our plans: first, we wanted to go to a concert, which we figured out was not free, and at last, we came up to go to some traditionnal music pub. So we went to Gogarty's pub for Steven's last night in Dublin. There Steven, Oliver and I got traditionnal music, and Yann and Patrick found american music and picking up.
In a word, I'm enjoying!
