I know that my blog is not really up to date these days, surely because now I came home and found it nearly as it was when I left.
Of course, I could list the differences between France and Ireland, but I fear that it will resume to this rather simple statement: in France you eat well, drink wine and go skiing. In Ireland you drink beer in a pub playing good music.

So from now on, I'm back to the kind of articles I was writting before I left: about the last movies I saw, about books, about anything I liked or hated.
I first wanted to post something about merchandizing, profit and Micheal Moore's last movie.

That was before I went to see No one knows about persian cats yesterday.
It deals with music, mostly. And the soundtrack is indeed very good, but what stroke me the most was the environment.
The duo was sometimes repeating in their car so that no one would hear, the bands were repeating on the roofs, in basements or in cowsheds, in order to avoid the police.

The story is about a duo who wants to go abroad to play their music and avoid local censoring.
Then they have to complete their group to be a band, to get visas and passports.
The story becomes a race to money and talent, always hiding from the police.
Through these two young people, we get to know the underground music of Tehran which censor cannot muzzle.

Go see that movie. It really worths it, if you like independant movies and music.
